Former Kitui Governor, Hon. Charity Kaluki Ngilu, has urged leaders to prioritize helping citizens acquire national identification cards to enable them to register as voters. Speaking during a burial ceremony in Kitui Rural, Ngilu stressed the importance of voter preparedness ahead of the 2027 general elections.
She called on voters to elect leaders who are focused on delivering development and addressing the needs of the people. “A good leader is chosen through the voting process,” Ngilu remarked, emphasizing that active participation in elections is key to fostering accountable leadership.
