Senator Kiio Wambua Condemns Abductions, Demands Release of Detained Activists

Kitui County Senator and Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Hon. Enoch Kiio Wambua, has urged President William Ruto to intervene and end the recent abductions of Gen-Z activists critical of the government.

The Senator demanded the immediate release of unfairly detained protesters and activists who have been held incommunicado for expressing dissent.

Speaking during condolence visits to grieving families, Senator Kiio bid farewell to four deceased individuals: the late Milcah Warigia Mutemi of Kivou village, Mwingi Central; the late Joshua Musyoka Muatha of Kiamani village, Kitui West; the late Benson Michael Kimanzi of Matinyani, Kitui West; and the late Solomon Mutinda Nzomo of Ngiluni, Kitui Rural. He extended his sympathies and called for justice for all victims of oppression.
