I am deeply saddened by the tragic news of a fatal road accident that occurred at Kwa Toma Market in Kyatune Location, Ikanga-Kyatune Ward. This unfortunate incident claimed two precious lives and left others injured. It is regrettable that such devastation was caused by one reckless driver, a stark reminder of the need for vigilance and discipline on our roads.
To prevent further loss of life on our roads, I urge all stakeholders in the transport sector to recognize that road safety is a shared responsibility. We must all play our part diligently and with utmost commitment.
I call upon all road users to embrace the highest levels of discipline and adopt safe road practices. Let us remember that life is precious and irreplaceable. I also encourage the government, road safety agencies, and KENHA to be firm and proactive in implementing road safety measures and enforcing strict adherence to traffic rules and regulations.
To the families who have lost their loved ones, I extend my heartfelt condolences. May you find strength and comfort during this difficult time. For those injured, I wish you a speedy and complete recovery.
Let us all work together to make our roads safer for everyone.
God bless Ikanga-Kyatune Ward. God bless Kenya.
