Free Eye Clinic Held at Kitui Jordan Hospital in Partnership with Maxivision Eye Clinic
Kitui Jordan Hospital ltd, in collaboration with Maxivision Eye Clinic camp, is hosting a two-day free eye clinic aimed at providing essential eye care services to the local community. The initiative, which began today, has drawn hundreds of residents eager to benefit from the free medical services.
Dr. Nyenze, who is leading the exercise, revealed that the team is targeting to attend to over 250 people each day. “Our goal is to ensure that as many people as possible receive the eye care they need, especially those who may not afford specialized treatment,” said Dr. Nyenze during the launch of the clinic.
Dr. Joshua Matu, the director of Jordan Hospital, reiterated the hospital’s commitment to serving the community through various outreach programs. Over the years, Dr. Matu has spearheaded numerous free medical camps, focusing on addressing the healthcare needs of underserved populations in Kitui County and beyond.
Beneficiaries of the eye clinic expressed their gratitude for the initiative, with many lauding the hospital’s efforts to improve access to healthcare. The event continues tomorrow, and residents are encouraged to take advantage of the free services offered.
Such initiatives highlight the importance of partnerships in bridging healthcare gaps and ensuring that essential medical services reach those in need.
