A delegation from Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe’s office visited the family of the late Jeremiah Mwema Nzuki in Kanziko Ward to offer condolences on behalf of the county leadership. The team was led by the Governor’s Political Advisor, Hon. Mwangu Ivuti, and Agriculture Chief Officer, Madam Gladys Mami Kivoto.
Jeremiah Mwema Nzuki, a respected elder and former senior police officer, passed away while receiving treatment at Jordan Hospital in Kitui after battling a long illness. He was 75 years old.
Until his demise, Nzuki was a key ally of Governor Malombe and a prominent figure in Kanziko Ward, Kitui South. His contributions to the community and his unwavering support for the county’s leadership were highly regarded.
Hon. Ivuti, while delivering Governor Malombe’s message of condolence, described Nzuki as a dedicated leader whose wisdom and guidance will be greatly missed. He assured the bereaved family of the county government’s support during this difficult time.
The visit by the Governor’s team reflects the administration’s commitment to standing with the people of Kitui during moments of grief and loss.
Nzuki’s funeral arrangements are underway, with leaders and residents expected to pay their final respects in the coming days.
