Kanziko town is in mourning following the passing of Jeremiah Mwema Nzuki, aged 75, after a long illness. A former senior police officer who has worked in various parts of the country, Nzuki was a respected figure in Kanziko Ward, Kitui South.
Until his demise, Nzuki was a key ally of Governor Julius Malombe. Members of the Governor’s team, including Mwangu Ivuti, Waziri Richard Mwendandu, CO Gladys Kivoto, CO Paul Ngei, and CO Jonathan Kyambi, visited his family in Kitui to offer their condolences.
Nzuki, a native of Keutunda village in Kanziko Ward, passed away at Jordan Hospital, and his body has been moved to Tribute Funeral Home. The community remembers him for his service and dedication to the region.
