A pack of hyenas that has been terrorizing residents of Kyamatu Location in Kitui East Constituency for the last one month has left a trail of destruction by killing goats and other livestock in the area.
Yesterday, the beasts killed 6 goats belonging to Mr. Geoffrey Kalima in Kamukusu Village just a kilometer from Kyamatu Market.
The hyenas which have been howling as early as 8pm have also killed several other goats in Inyokoni and Kyamatu market area.
Residents are calling the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) to remove the deadly beasts and stop the destruction left behind by the marauding beasts.
