A section of Ukambani leaders, professionals, and youth representatives convened today under the leadership of Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua for a high-level strategy meeting aimed at refining the agenda for the upcoming Maanzoni Declaration 2.
The meeting, which brought together members of the Kamba Nation Agenda Technical Team, focused on key development concerns, economic empowerment, and the region’s political positioning. This engagement builds upon an earlier forum held at Maanzoni, signaling a concerted effort by Ukambani leadership to advance a unified regional strategy.
Speaking at the forum, leaders emphasized the importance of policy priorities and strategic alignment to foster economic growth and greater representation at the national level. The discussions also explored ways to enhance youth participation and professional input in decision-making processes affecting the region.
With momentum building ahead of the Maanzoni Declaration 2, stakeholders expressed optimism that the event would serve as a defining moment in shaping Ukambani’s political and economic trajectory.
The declaration is expected to provide a clear roadmap for regional development, as leaders and stakeholders seek to forge a cohesive agenda that addresses longstanding challenges and unlocks new opportunities for the Kamba community.
