The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has summoned three Makueni County MCAs—Urbanus Wambua, Francis Mutuku, and Sebastian Kyoni—regarding their involvement in a protest on June 25 that resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
The protest, which initially aimed to address local grievances, escalated into violence, prompting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatalities.
The MCAs are expected to provide testimonies as authorities continue to probe the events leading to the tragic incident.
