Former Senator David Musila Declares Bid for Kitui Governor Seat in 2027

Veteran politician and former Kitui Senator Hon. David Musila has officially announced his intention to contest for the Kitui gubernatorial seat in the upcoming 2027 General Election, adding to an already crowded race.

Speaking during a public event in Kitui, Musila confirmed his return to the political arena, saying, “I will be vying for the Kitui Governor’s seat in 2027. My experience and track record speak for themselves, and I believe I have what it takes to lead this county forward.”

Musila, who previously served as both Senator and Member of Parliament for Mwingi West, is known for his long-standing service in Kenyan politics and his influence in the region.
