Kitui Governor Julius Malombe has called on his administration to focus on delivering essential services to residents. Speaking during a cabinet consultative forum in Mutomo, he emphasized the need to assess progress, address challenges, and continuously improve service provision.
The governor reiterated the importance of fulfilling “The Kitui Promise,” which includes food security, water access, healthcare, industrial growth, and urban development.
He also raised concerns over the impact of the U.S. funding cuts on HIV/AIDS and malaria programs, urging the county to seek alternative financing to sustain healthcare services.
