Kitui Central MP, Hon. Dr. Makali Mulu, attended the burial ceremony of the late Jostina Thaavu Mwendwa in Kyangwithya East Ward. He praised the deceased as a hardworking community member and extended heartfelt condolences to her family.
During his speech, Hon. Mulu commended Generation Z for their unwavering unity and resilience in opposing the recently dropped finance bill. He described the bill as “punitive” and “laden with excessive taxation,” urging the youth to maintain their solidarity in the ongoing fight for the country’s well-being.
Hon. Nzilu Nzioka, Deputy Speaker of the Kitui County Assembly, and Hon. Katumbi, MCA for Kyangwithya East Ward, also attended the event, highlighting its significance. Their presence underscored the community’s respect and recognition for the late Jostina Thaavu.
