Voo kyamatu MCA Hon. Zack Syengo, who chairs the County Assembly Budget Committee, has reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with Governor Julius Malombe in advancing Kitui’s financial policies. Syengo spoke during a Public Participation Forum on the 2025/26 County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP) and the Medium-Term Debt Strategy Paper (2025) held at KEFRI Centre in Kitui Town.
The forum, presided over by Deputy Governor H.E. Wambua Kanani, brought together residents, civil society groups, and private sector representatives to provide input on the county’s financial and debt management plans. Senior county officials, including CEC Members for Finance, Roads, Lands, and Agriculture, were also in attendance.
Deputy Governor Kanani emphasized the county’s commitment to transparency and citizen engagement in the budgeting process. Residents can review the draft CFSP and Debt Strategy Paper on the county website (www.kitui.go.ke) and submit their feedback via email (planning@kitui.go.ke) or through sub-county offices by February 18, 2025.
