Kitui residents will soon benefit from the long-awaited Kangu Kangu Water Project, set to be commissioned by June, kitui Governor Dr Julius Makau Malombe has said.
The project, a partnership between Governor Julius Malombe’s administration and World Vision, will deliver 1.4 million litres of water daily, improving access to clean water.
A six-member team has been appointed to oversee final preparations. Meanwhile, additional collaborations, including the Ngomano Water Project, are in progress, marking a major step towards water security in Kitui County.
