Kazuri Café Proprietor Shares Insights on Restaurant Success at Kitui Investor Forum

The proprietor of Kazuri Café, Madam Rhoda Kazuri, delivered an inspiring presentation on the key factors that contribute to the success of restaurants in Kitui. Speaking as a panelist at the Kitui Investors Sensitization Forum held in Kanyonyoo, Rhoda emphasized the importance of hygiene and serving fresh, high-quality food.

“The secret to a thriving restaurant is maintaining high-end cleanliness and ensuring that no leftover food is sold to customers,” Rhoda stated. She further advised restaurant owners to maintain the same quality of food at their businesses as they do in their homes. “If you use pure Pishori rice at home, make sure you serve the same quality to your customers in your restaurant,” she added.

Rhoda Kazuri

In the same forum, another speaker, Mama Safi, encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs in the hospitality sector to seek financial support from lending institutions without fear.

Rhoda also cautioned women against misusing business loans, urging them to invest wisely instead of spending on non-essential items. “When you take loans, don’t use them to buy new clothes or change your hairstyle,” she advised.

Deputy Governor HE Wambua Kanani was part of the panelists, Kanana reiterated the county government’s commitment to enable business people an enabling environment for business in kitui.

The forum, which aimed to empower investors and business owners in Kitui, was moderated by Ben Kitoli and Christine Ndanu.
