The County Government of Kitui, under the leadership of Governor Julius Malombe, has proposed an ambitious plan to roll out more than 300 community-level projects across the county’s 40 wards in the 2025/26 financial year.
These projects, part of the Community Level Infrastructure Development Programme (CLIDP), are aimed at improving local infrastructure and essential services at an estimated cost of Ksh 750 million.
The initiative, outlined in the county’s Annual Development Plan for 2025/26, will address key sectors such as water, health, education, roads, and agriculture.
