Ikave, Katulani Sub-county– The Kitui County community came together in a show of solidarity as Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) attended the burial of the late Jeremiah Mutemi Ngunzu, affectionately known as ‘Utoni.’
The burial, held in Ikave, Maliku village, was marked by the presence of Hon. Mark Nding’o, MCA for Yatta Kwavonza ward, along with several other MCAs from Kitui County. The mourners gathered to support Hon. Nicholas Mutemi, MCA for Kisasi ward, as he laid his father to rest.
The event was a poignant reminder of the unity and camaraderie within the Kitui County leadership and community during times of grief. The MCAs expressed their heartfelt condolences to Hon. Nicholas Mutemi and his family, emphasizing the significant loss to the community.
Jeremiah Mutemi Ngunzu, known for his contributions to the community, was remembered fondly by those in attendance. The ceremony highlighted the deep respect and affection he garnered throughout his life.
