Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has outlined the county’s development priorities for the 2025/2026 financial year, with a total budget of Ksh. 13.7 billion.
Speaking at the conclusion of a two-day consultative session in Mutomo, the Governor announced that 32.6% of the budget will be allocated to development projects focused on infrastructure, public services, and healthcare. He also reaffirmed the county’s commitment to settling pending bills and ensuring funds are used for impactful development programs to improve residents’ livelihoods.
