Kitui Launches County Validation Barazas for NAVCDP in All 40 Wards

On Monday 24th June 2024, Marked a significant milestone in Kitui County with the commencement of validation Barazas under the National Agricultural and Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP), the county Diary can report.Led by the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Agriculture, Dr. Stephen Mbaya Kimwele, the exercise aims to present the Community Development Plan and Landscape Action Plan while gathering public views on community-selected value chains.Speaking in Mwingi Central Sub-County, Dr. Kimwele urged farmers to actively participate in the validation process, emphasizing the importance of the exercise and its potential to transform agricultural practices and enhance productivity across Kitui County.He called on farmers to turn out in large numbers, ensuring their voices are heard in shaping the project’s direction.”As we embark on this crucial phase of the project, it is key that every farmer participates.
