Yatta Kwa Vonza Member of Kitui County Assembly, Hon. Mark Ndingo, has dismissed recent remarks by Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi, terming them as attention-seeking tactics.
Speaking to TCD Digital, Ndingo stated that Wandayi’s comments were inconsequential and aimed at gaining favor with President William Ruto.
“He is not an equal to Kalonzo. He should concentrate on his ministerial duties and leave Raila to decide on his future,” Ndingo remarked.
His response comes amid ongoing political tensions surrounding ODM leader Raila Odinga’s future in national politics.

Wandayi also highlighted the existence of two political formations—the broad-based coalition supporting Ruto and another he referred to as the “Wamunyoro coalition”—and urged leaders to choose their allegiance clearly.
