Kauwi Ward MCA Hon. Gabriel Munyao and Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Ndingo have been ranked among the best-performing Members of County Assembly (MCAs) in Kenya, according to the 2025 Mizani Africa Voter’s Choice Awards.
In the national rankings released by the reputable research firm, Hon. Munyao secured the third position with an impressive 67.9% approval rating, while Hon. Ndingo followed closely in fourth place, scoring 66.4%.
The rankings are based on performance, leadership, development record, and engagement with constituents. Mizani Africa conducted surveys across the country to gauge public opinion on the impact of elected ward representatives.
The recognition is a major boost for the two youthful leaders, who have consistently championed development, community engagement, and transparency in Kitui County Assembly.
Speaking after the announcement, both leaders thanked their constituents for the trust and pledged to continue delivering on their mandates.
This accolade positions Kitui County as a hub of effective leadership at the grassroots level.
