The Ministry of Lands and Urban Development has continued to deliver on the promises of Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Makau Malombe, with the latest milestone being the ongoing cabro installation between Magunaa Supermarket and the Univision Sacco building in Kitui Town.
This initiative is part of a broader urban facelift aimed at improving aesthetics and promoting Non-Motorised Transport (NMT) across the municipality. The cabro paving not only enhances the visual appeal of the town but also provides safer and more accessible walkways for pedestrians and cyclists.
Governor Malombe’s administration has prioritized sustainable urban development through phased, community-centered projects. The current works represent just one of the many steps being taken to create a more modern, efficient, and people-friendly Kitui Town.
Residents and stakeholders have lauded the Urban Development Department under Kitui Municipality for its commitment and execution of the plan, which is in line with the Governor’s transformative vision for the county’s urban centers.
Kudos to the Ministry of Lands and Urban Development and the Urban Development Department for their continued efforts in reshaping Kitui, one space at a time.
