A once-vocal Member of County Assembly (MCA) has sparked public chatter after being spotted alone purchasing high blood pressure medication at a local chemist.
Residents in his home village have since nicknamed him “Wantam” – loosely translated to “he who is forgotten” – citing his complete loss of political ground and public support and being in bad book with Executive wing of government.
“He used to walk with an entourage. Now he walks alone,” said one villager.
The MCA, who once enjoyed strong backing, is now facing growing serious isolation as locals accuse him of neglecting development promises and disappearing from public engagements.
