The Machakos County Assembly has officially approved the County Budget Estimates for the Financial Year 2025/2026, alongside the Machakos County Appropriation Bill, 2025.
During an evening plenary session chaired by Speaker Hon. Anne Kiusya, Members of the County Assembly deliberated on and unanimously endorsed the key financial documents. The motions were successfully moved by Hon. Dominic Ndambuki, Chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee.
In her remarks, Speaker Kiusya commended the MCAs for their dedication and focus in executing their oversight and legislative roles, saying, “I commend all Honorable Members for their commitment to delivering on our oversight and legislative mandate for the benefit of the people of Machakos.”
Additionally, the House resolved to alter its calendar and adjourned until Tuesday, 8th July 2025.
