Kitui Central MP Dr. Makali Mulu and Mwingi West MP Hon. Charles Nguna have been ranked among the top 20 best-performing Members of Parliament in Kenya, according to the prestigious 2025 Mizani Africa Voter’s Choice Awards.
Dr. Mulu was ranked with an impressive 81.7%, placing him among the highest-performing legislators in the country. Hon. Nguna followed closely with a score of 79.3%, securing the 6th position nationally and 2nd regionally.
The rankings are based on a detailed assessment of legislative performance, public engagement, development record, and consistency in representing constituents’ interests.
In his statement following the recognition, Hon. Charles Nguna expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Mwingi West, saying:
