Makueni welcomes NLP in their thousands

By TCD Team

The National Liberal Party (NLP) has received a major boost in Makueni County as thousands of residents turned out to register with the party ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Following a successful mobilization campaign in Kitui County, the party has now escalated its grassroots registration drive in Makueni, marking a significant milestone in its expansion strategy across the Ukambani region.

NLP party leader Kyalo Muli expressed optimism about the party’s growing support base, emphasizing his commitment to building a national political movement rooted in progressive values and inclusive governance.

Speaking exclusively to TCD, NLP senior official Dr. Augustus Kyalo thanked Makueni residents for showing overwhelming support.

“We are humbled by the massive turnout in Makueni. This is a clear sign that Kenyans are ready for alternative leadership, not only in Ukambani but across the country,” Dr. Kyalo said.

The party aims to present a new political direction, focusing on youth empowerment, economic development, and accountable leadership as it prepares for the 2027 elections.
