Kavoloi Secondary School in Mwingi West has received a brand-new school bus, a donation funded by the Mwingi West National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF). The bus was officially handed over in a ceremony attended by Kitui County Woman Representative Hon. Irene Kasalu and Mwingi West Member of Parliament Hon. Charles Nguna (CNN).
Speaking during the event, Hon. Nguna emphasized the importance of investing in education, noting that the new school bus will enhance students’ access to educational trips, competitions, and other learning activities beyond the school premises.
“This is part of our commitment to improving the education sector in Mwingi West. We want to ensure that students have the necessary resources to succeed,” said Hon. Nguna.
Hon. Irene Kasalu echoed similar sentiments, applauding the initiative and reaffirming her support for educational development in Kitui County.
The donation was warmly received by school administrators, students, and members of the Kavoloi community, who expressed gratitude for the support. They noted that the bus would ease transport challenges, benefiting both the students and the wider community.
This latest development highlights the leadership’s dedication to enhancing educational facilities and fostering development in the region.
