Mp. Nguna Intervenes as Power Restored in Thokoa After Two-Week Blackout

MP’s Swift Intervention Brings Relief to Residents and Businesses

Residents of Thokoa town and surrounding villages in Mwingi West can finally breathe a sigh of relief after Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) replaced a faulty transformer that had left the entire area in darkness for the past two weeks.

The transformer, which had blown up, brought business operations in the area to a standstill, causing untold inconvenience to households and local enterprises. However, following the intervention of Mwingi West Member of Parliament, power has now been fully restored.
