Mp. Nimrod Mbai Boosts Kitui East Technical College with Ksh 2.4 Million Grant and Pledges Ksh 120 Million for Modern Equipment

On March 10, 2025 – Hon. Nimrod Mbai, the Member of Parliament for Kitui East and Chairman of UDA in Kitui County, has taken a bold step in strengthening technical education in the region. On Monday evening, he issued a cheque worth Ksh 2.4 million to Kitui East Technical College, an investment aimed at enhancing the institution’s infrastructure and overall development.

In a major boost for technical education, Hon. Mbai also pledged an additional Ksh 120 million to equip the college with state-of-the-art training facilities. This initiative is expected to significantly improve the quality of education and skills training offered at the institution, giving young people better employment prospects and contributing to economic growth in Kitui County.
