Work like NGILU, Nyiva and late Francis Nyenze, Mbai Urges CS Penina Malonza as local politics hots up.

MP Nimrod Mbai Criticizes CS Penina Malonza, Calls for Tangible Development in Kitui

Kitui East Member of Parliament Hon. Nimrod Mbithuka Mbai has voiced strong criticism against Cabinet Secretary Penina Malonza, asserting that she has not matched the developmental achievements of her predecessors, including Charity Ngilu, Nyiva Mwendwa, and the late Francis Nyenze.

Speaking to the press after a meeting with UDA Party delegates at Kitui Hotel, Mbai emphasized the need for Malonza to deliver concrete development projects in Kitui County rather than merely providing relief goods.

Mbai’s remarks come ahead of the UDA Party’s grassroots elections, where delegates unanimously agreed to support him for the position of Kitui County UDA Party chairperson. He challenged Malonza to follow in the footsteps of her predecessors who, according to him, made significant contributions to the national government during their tenures as ministers.

The meeting underscored the local political dynamics and the push for more substantial developmental initiatives in Kitui. As the grassroots elections approach, Mbai’s call for tangible progress is expected to resonate with many constituents who seek lasting improvements in their county.
