The National Liberal Party (NLP) has officially launched a nationwide recruitment drive, inviting Kenyans to register as members. The party’s leader, Augustus Muli, announced that interested individuals can join by dialing *509# and following the registration process.
Speaking during the launch, Muli emphasized that the initiative is part of the NLP’s strategy to expand its support base ahead of the 2027 elections. He noted that the party is committed to fostering national unity, good governance, and economic transformation.
“This recruitment drive marks a new chapter for NLP as we continue to engage with Kenyans across the country. We are building a party that represents the aspirations of the people and provides solutions to the challenges they face,” said Muli.
Kyalo Muli’s Rising Political Profile
Kyalo Muli, a prominent figure in Ukambani politics, has been making significant moves on the national stage. Known for his Kyalo Kya Maendeleo initiative, which has empowered many women in the region, Muli has earned recognition as a key political player. His growing influence was further solidified when he was installed as the Anzau National Clan patron.
Recently, Muli has been seen engaging with top political leaders, including President William Ruto, Raila Odinga, and Kalonzo Musyoka. His elevated political activities have fueled speculation about his future ambitions, with many suggesting that he could be eyeing a national seat in the 2027 elections.
Although he has not officially declared his political intentions, his close ties with influential figures and active involvement in governance matters indicate that he could play a crucial role in shaping Kenya’s political landscape in the coming years.
As the NLP embarks on its recruitment drive, all eyes will be on how the party positions itself ahead of the next electoral cycle and whether leaders like Kyalo Muli will take on bigger political challenges.
