Kitui East MP from UDA hon Nimrod Mbai, and ODM’s nominated senator Beth Syengo have officially been named the faces of the ODM-UDA Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Ukambani during a signing ceremony at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) today.
This dynamic duo has been tasked with the critical responsibility of ensuring that the contents of the MoU are effectively implemented across the region. “We are committed to championing the commitments set forth in the MoU, ensuring that the voices and needs of our constituents are prioritized,” Mbai stated emphatically.
The MoU outlines vital areas for action, including executing the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, enhancing inclusivity, strengthening devolution, and safeguarding the livelihoods of youth. It addresses urgent issues such as national debt, corruption, and the protection of citizens’ rights.
As the designated representatives for this historic partnership, Mbai and Syengo aim to lead a transformative agenda for Ukambani that represents the interests of the people, marking a new era of collaboration between UDA and ODM in the region.
End.
