Personal statement by Hon Dr RACHEAL NYAMAI CBC, Kitui South Mp.

Dear Members of My Constituency, Community, and Fellow Kenyans,

I hope this message finds you well. I extend my warmest greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.

I want to share my motivations for supporting the recent bill, particularly due to its potential to enhance our development projects, including increased funding for education and rural electrification—critical areas of need in our constituency.

I am pleased to announce that the voice of the people was heard regarding the Finance Bill, 2024. Indeed, the voice of the people is the voice of God. We are grateful that His Excellency President William Ruto listened to the people and withdrew the bill. Efforts are now underway to engage with as many stakeholders as possible in this process.

I acknowledge that I could have engaged more fully with my constituents and pledge to do so more actively in the future.
