The Principal Secretary for Livestock Development, Hon. Jonathan Mueke, on Tuesday hosted a delegation of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) from Kitui County at his office in Kilimo House, Nairobi.
During the meeting, PS Mueke briefed the leaders on various national government projects currently underway in Kitui, particularly in the livestock and agricultural sectors. He commended the MCAs for their commitment to serving their constituents and pledged the government’s continued support in addressing their development needs.
“UDA MCAs from Kitui County paid me a courtesy call at Kilimo House to receive a briefing on ongoing national government projects in Kitui,” Mueke stated in a social media post.
He further assured the leaders that the government remains dedicated to uplifting communities in Kitui County through targeted interventions and development initiatives.
The engagement comes amid increasing efforts by the national government to collaborate with county leaders in accelerating service delivery and economic growth at the grassroots level.
