Site Handover for Sump Well at Mwitasyano River to Boost Water Supply in Kwavonza

Residents of Kwavonza are set to benefit from improved water supply following the official site handover for the construction of a sump well at Mwitasyano River. The project, funded by the County Government of Kitui under the leadership of Governor Dr. Julius Malombe, is expected to ease water challenges in the fast-growing town.

The handover ceremony was led by Yatta Kwa Vonza Member of the County Assembly (MCA), who emphasized the importance of the project in addressing water scarcity in the region. The sump well, once complete, will play a crucial role in boosting water availability for domestic and commercial use.
