Stakeholders Meeting on Saving Lives and Livelihoods (SLL) Phase II Held in Kitui

Kitui County Ministry of Health, in partnership with Amref Health Africa, Africa CDC, MOH, and MasterCard Foundation, hosted a stakeholders meeting to discuss the implementation of the Saving Lives and Livelihoods (SLL) Phase II project.

The project aims to strengthen health systems, support integrated medical outreaches through Primary Care Networks (PCNs), expand One-Health programs, and enhance national immunization efforts.

Chief Officer for Public Health, Lynn Kitwan, highlighted the importance of multi-sectoral partnerships in improving healthcare, while Chief Officer for Livestock, Jonathan Kyambi, emphasized disease surveillance through the One-Health Approach.

The meeting brought together health, livestock, environment, and humanitarian organizations, including KWS, ADRA, WHH, and others. Stakeholders will now collaborate on rolling out planned interventions.
