Tourism Fund Director Patrick Ngere Embarks on Media Campaign to Educate Ukambani Residents on Government Programs

Tourism Fund Director Mr. Patrick Ngere has launched an intensive media engagement campaign across the Ukambani region, aimed at educating the public on government programs and countering what he terms as deliberate misinformation by a section of opposition leaders.

Speaking exclusively to TCD Digital, Mr. Ngere criticized a section of Wiper Party leaders for allegedly spreading falsehoods aimed at misleading the public and undermining the government’s development agenda.

“It is wrong to allow some political leaders to peddle lies against the government. Our people deserve the truth, and I am here to provide it,” he said.

Mr. Ngere has already made appearances on several regional radio stations, including Mwatu FM and Kamba FM, where he has been outlining the government’s development scorecard and key milestones achieved under President William Ruto’s administration.

“For the next three months, I want to reach out to our community and educate them on government programs,” Mr. Ngere stated, emphasizing the importance of awareness in fostering development and accountability.

He noted that there has been a surge in misinformation from opposition leaders within Ukambani, which he says has created confusion and unnecessary tension among locals.

The Tourism Fund director reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive development and urged residents to seek verified information from credible sources.
