Two middle-aged men are currently receiving treatment at Kitui Referral Hospital following a severe road accident involving a motorbike and a private car. The incident occurred in Kitui town around Kunda Kindu on the busy Kitui-Kibwezi road.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened when the private car attempted to overtake a lorry, resulting in a head-on collision with the motorbike. The force of the impact left both vehicles severely damaged.
Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the hospital. The condition of the two men is not yet known, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
