Mbooni, Machakos County- Wiper party leader Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has called on the Parliamentary Service Commission commissioner Johnson Muthama to convene a meeting for Kamba leaders to foster unity in the region.
Musyoka made this appeal while speaking at a burial ceremony in Mbooni, Machakos County, where he joined other leaders to pay their last respects to the late wife of former MP Konzolo Munyao.
During his address, Musyoka emphasized the importance of solidarity among Kamba leaders to address the region’s developmental challenges effectively. He urged Commissioner Muthama to take the initiative and organize a meeting that would bring together leaders from various political and social backgrounds.
“The unity of our leaders is crucial for the progress and development of our region. I urge Commissioner Johnson Muthama to convene a meeting of Kamba leaders to discuss and strategize on how we can work together for the betterment of our people,” Musyoka stated.
The burial ceremony, which was attended by Makueni Governor hon Mutula, DAP boss Wamalwa, and several prominent leaders and community members, served as a platform for Musyoka to reiterate his commitment to regional unity and development.
