Popular comedian and radio host at Milele FM, Jacquey Nyaminde, better known as Wilbroda, has offered some candid advice to rising social media star Bradley, also known as “Gen Z Goliath.” During a recent radio session, Wilbroda expressed concern over Bradley’s rapid rise to fame and warned him to be cautious about how he handles his newfound popularity.
Wilbroda emphasized that Bradley should not let the limelight and the attention from prominent figures like fellow comedian Terence Mwangi make him feel as though he has “arrived.” In her message, she urged the young content creator to remain humble and focused on building a lasting career.
“Bradley aende pole pole, hutu tusuti na kupiga mapicha na akina Terence isifanye ajione amefika, yeye bado,” Wilbroda advised, suggesting that he should not be swayed by the glitz and glamor of social media attention.
She also reminded him of how easily Kenyans can forget public figures, pointing to former internet sensation Kasamuel as an example. “Wakenya watamsahau haraka sana venye walisahau Kasamuel,” she remarked, warning Bradley of the fleeting nature of fame in Kenya.
Wilbroda’s comments come at a time when Bradley, the self-styled “Gen Z Goliath,” has become a household name on social media, collaborating with established comedians and influencers. However, Wilbroda’s message serves as a reminder that while the spotlight may be bright, it requires careful management for one to maintain long-term success in the entertainment industry.
