Wiper Party Rift Deepens as Two Speakers hold meeting with president William

A meeting between Kitui Speaker Kevin Kinengo, Machakos Speaker Anne Kiusya, and President William Ruto on Tuesday, June 2, 2025, has ignited tensions within the Wiper Democratic Movement. The visit defied a standing directive by party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who has warned Wiper leaders against engaging with the Kenya Kwanza administration.

Musyoka, speaking in Matuu, Machakos County, condemned the move and reminded party members to adhere strictly to Wiper policies. The incident has drawn backlash from party supporters, with some calling for disciplinary action against the two speakers.
