Nyali MP Mohammed Ali, popularly known as Jicho Pevu, has officially been handed a direct Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) ticket by WPF leader Kalonzo Musyoka to contest the Mombasa gubernatorial seat in the 2027 General Election. The move signals Wiper’s determination to expand its political footprint beyond its traditional Ukambani base and challenge ODM’s long-standing dominance at the Coast.
