Residents of Kyandui in Mulango Ward kitui central received a major boost in healthcare services after Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe commissioned the newly constructed outpatient block at Kyandui Dispensary. The project, undertaken and operationalized by the county administration, is part of the governor’s ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve access to quality medical services across the county.
The newly commissioned facility is already operational and serving the community, significantly enhancing the delivery of healthcare services and reducing the burden on residents who previously had to travel long distances in search of treatment. The outpatient block is expected to improve patient care, increase service efficiency, and provide a better healthcare environment for both patients and medical staff, TCD digital reports
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Governor Malombe reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investing in accessible and quality healthcare as a key pillar of development. He noted that strengthening health facilities at the grassroots level remains crucial in ensuring residents receive timely and effective medical services.
The Governor was accompanied by County Executive Committee Member for Health and Sanitation Madam Ruth Koki, Chief Officer for Medical Services Dr. Benson Musyoka, alongside other senior county officials who attended the event.
