Kitui Rural UDA parliamentary aspirant Hon. John Kisangau Mbaki on Wednesday afternoon held a public engagement meeting at Kivunga Comprehensive School in Kanyonyoo Location, where he met residents alongside the area Chief, Assistant Chiefs, members of the clergy, Community Health Volunteers (CHVs), and local opinion leaders.
The meeting brought together community representatives to discuss local development priorities and the 2027 political landscape. Mbaki used the forum to outline his vision for Kitui Rural while seeking support for his parliamentary bid ahead of the General Election scheduled for August 10, 2027.
Addressing the gathering, Mbaki expressed gratitude to the residents of Mwakini for what he described as a warm reception and overwhelming support. He said he was encouraged by the community’s commitment to rally behind his candidature in the upcoming polls.
“I sincerely thank the residents of Mwakini for the warm reception. I am grateful for your pledge of unconditional support and your commitment to mobilize the entire location to elect me as your Member of Parliament on 10th August 2027. Asanteni sana,” Mbaki said, reaffirming his determination to continue engaging residents across Kitui Rural as he campaigns for the UDA ticket.
