Kaiti, August 19, 2026 — Kaiti Youth Patron Alex Musomba has pledged to support the family of Zipporah Mulungye after their home was recently destroyed by fire, leaving the family facing significant challenges.

Musomba visited the family to assess their situation and expressed concern over the difficulties they are experiencing following the incident. He said the family deserved support and reassurance as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding their lives.

As Kaiti Youth Patron, Musomba committed to standing with the family and supporting the construction of a new house in accordance with their plans. He said the initiative is aimed at helping the family regain a safe, decent and dignified place to call home.

Musomba said true leadership is demonstrated by being present for people during their most difficult moments, emphasizing the importance of communities coming together to support vulnerable families.

“Together, we can turn a painful loss into a new beginning, restore hope and help rebuild their home,” Musomba said.

He pledged to continue walking with the family throughout the rebuilding process, saying the loss caused by the fire should not extinguish their hope for a better future.
