Dr Racheal Nyamai Leads 5,000-Plus Women in Mutonguni Empowerment Forum
Kitui South Member of Parliament Dr Racheal Kaki Nyamai has led a major women empowerment and public engagement forum in Mutonguni Ward, Kitui West Constituency, where more than 5,000 women and residents gathered for dialogue and empowerment.
The forum was hosted by Kitui West MP aspirant Hon. Benedict Muasya and Mutonguni Ward MCA aspirant Hon. Jemimah Ndanu Mwangangi. The event brought together local residents, political leaders and UDA supporters to discuss community empowerment and development.
Dr Nyamai was joined by Hon. Nimrod Mbai, Senator Beth Syengo, Hon. Penina Malonza, Speaker Kevin Kinengo Katisya, MCA Paul Maluki, Hon. Bonnie Musambi, Hon. Moses Banda, Hon. John Kisangau, Hon. Esther Ndile and Hon. Martha Mati, among other leaders.
In her address, Dr Nyamai praised President William Ruto for what she described as development programmes being implemented across Kitui County, citing empowerment initiatives, improved security and grassroots development projects.
She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda and ensuring its benefits reach households across the county.
“Together, we are committed to ensuring the Bottom-Up Economic agenda reaches every household,” Dr Nyamai stated.
The Mutonguni gathering is expected to further strengthen political mobilisation and community engagement efforts ahead of the 2027 General Election.
