The Holy Family Catholic Church in Kabati was a scene of jubilation and heartfelt gratitude as leaders and faithful gathered to mark the 20th Priestly Ordination Anniversary of Fr. Julius Muthamba. Among the distinguished guests was Dr. Vincent Munywoki, whose presence highlighted the spirit of unity and appreciation for spiritual leadership.
The event, attended by clergy and community members, underscored the value of recognizing those who dedicate their lives to spreading God’s word. Through a collaborative mission to support evangelism in the Kitundumo region, attendees demonstrated acts of kindness and appreciation for religious leaders who tirelessly serve their congregations.
As part of this mission, a special initiative was launched to honor pastors, pastor ladies, the assistant bishop, and the bishop with tailored uniforms. These uniforms, presented as tokens of gratitude, symbolize respect and recognition for their unwavering commitment to God’s work. This thoughtful gesture aims to empower these leaders to continue serving with dignity and love, while fostering a sense of pride and unity within the community.
Dr. Munywoki, speaking at the event, emphasized the importance of acknowledging individuals who make significant efforts to transform lives positively. “It is not about the size of the gesture but the sincerity behind it. When we appreciate and support one another, we strengthen our collective mission to fulfill God’s plan,” he said.
The celebration was marked by prayers, music, and heartfelt speeches, creating a vibrant atmosphere of thanksgiving and unity. Fr. Julius Muthamba expressed his gratitude to all who attended, acknowledging their role in his journey of two decades of priesthood.
The event served as a reminder of the profound impact of faith-driven leadership and the importance of working together to nurture and grow spiritual communities.
