Former Cabinet Secretary Penina Malonza joins crowded Kitui County Gubernatorial race

Former Cabinet Secretary Penina Malonza has officially declared her candidacy for the Governor of Kitui County.

In her announcement, Malonza expressed her commitment to improving the lives of Kitui residents, focusing on development, governance, and addressing local challenges.

Penina joins Dr Makali Mulu, Nicholas Mulila, Dr Irene Kasalu, Former Kitui Governor hon Charity Ngilu and kitui senator Hon Enoch Wambua who have already announced their bid to succeed Kitui Governor Dr Julius Makau In 2029.

Known for her public service, Malonza’s entry into the race is expected to flutter up the political landscape of the county as she seeks to unseat the current leadership in the upcoming elections.
