President William Ruto has announced a significant increase in higher education funding, raising it to KSh 52 billion.
This move aims to ensure that all students, particularly those from vulnerable families, can access university education, in line with the government’s efforts to promote equality in Kenya.During his visit to Kiangungu, President Ruto officially inaugurated the Kirinyaga Central Technical and Vocational College, along with the Jitume ICT Hub.
These new institutions are expected to enhance technical education and digital skills development in the region, contributing to the nation’s economic growth and technological advancement.
