Ukambani gospel singer Stephen Kasolo has announced that he will address the nation following circulating rumors that have put his name in the spotlight. In a strongly worded social media post, Kasolo expressed his frustration over the allegations, threatening to take action against those spreading the claims.
“Tomorrow I will address the Nation coz of this nonsense going around. I have invited all online media at 10 am so that mjaluo (a derogatory term) will know I have a name to protect,” Kasolo wrote. “He has remained silent yet he was the one who made a joke with my name…You lost your phone where you got drunk, and tomorrow you will explain. If it gets bad, let it get bad…kathaiwe.”
Kasolo did not specify the exact nature of the rumors, but his response suggests that he is deeply offended by the accusations. His statements also indicate that the issue may involve an individual who allegedly made a joke at his expense, which has now escalated into a wider public discourse.
Kasolo, known for his hit gospel songs and vibrant personality, has previously been vocal about his personal and professional reputation. He has urged the public and the media to join him as he plans to address the matter officially.
More details are expected to emerge after his press conference, where Kasolo will give his side of the story.
